The Morgan Miller Plumbing Scholarship is a full scholarship to the Johnson County Community College Plumbing Technology program.
The Morgan Miller Plumbing scholarship was specifically created to assist prospective plumbers in obtaining a Plumbing Technology Certification. This opportunity is intended for individuals enrolled in Johnson County Community College’s the one-year daytime program. Financial support covers up to one full year, enabling recipients to pursue their studies and obtain a Plumbing Technology Certification.
Moreover, the awardees of this scholarship will receive an additional benefit—a paid apprenticeship with Morgan Miller Plumbing. During the apprenticeship, they will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field. Additionally, we work to ensure assigned work days do not coincide with their school schedule. This apprenticeship program offers invaluable hands-on training, allowing individuals to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
In return for the investment made in their education and apprenticeship, recipients of the scholarship are expected to commit to a minimum of one year of continued employment with Morgan Miller Plumbing upon successfully completing the program. This requirement ensures that the recipients have the opportunity to further develop their skills and contribute to the company’s success while enjoying long-term career prospects.
Who Can Apply for the Plumbing Scholarship?
Any high school senior or individual who has interest in enrolling in the Johnson County Community College Plumbing Technology program with the purpose of obtaining a Plumbing Technology Certification may apply.
What Do I Need to Apply?
- Completed Morgan Miller Plumbing Scholarship Application
- Current transcript of high school or trade school grades
- Two letters of recommendation from any of the following – teacher, adviser, activity leader, or supervisor
